From the Founder
I was thinking today about when AumaKhua-Ki® Energy Balancing & Meditation was meant to manifest in the modern world. Most of AumaKhua-Ki® is ancient. Sometimes, when I receive new visions and insights, it actually feels like I am remembering. Sound familiar? (I think there are others who are also recalling that they did Light Work before.)
My first recollection of feeling energy coming out of my hands was in the summer of 1980 while doing prayers & “laying-on-of-hands” with a church prayer group. When I laid my hands on a woman’s shoulders and started praying for God to help her, I began to feel energy coming out of my hands and going into her.
My first spark of remembering—Path as Initiator—was during Reiki 1, in March 1983. It was while I was receiving, the first of 4 Reiki Attunements, at a First Degree class with Reiki Master Patricia (Bowling) Ewing. Patricia was taught and initiated by Mrs. Hawayo Takata (a Reiki Grand Master). I loved the concept of spiritual initiations! For me, it was a calling HOME. I knew that this was where I belonged. My first exploration was doing energy activations on clients as chair sessions in the mid 80s. Then there were the Crystal Therapeutics classes which included crystal healing attunements in the advanced classes. After doing dozens of energy attunements, I advanced to doing free-form energy activations that were “outside the box” – no structure. Each energy activation was based on a client’s or a student’s resonance. The next step was doing energy activations with groups of people during some of my lectures. I became a certified Reiki Master in November 1989 while studying with Ruth Tishler in Florida. In the spring of 1991, I taught and initiated Carol, a friend, who became my first Reiki Master. During the following month, I received a Reiki Master Attunement from Reiki Grand Master Phyllis Furumoto (Takata’s granddaughter). Years went by while I was back to working “in a box” with structure, but not with energy awareness. Except, that I could feel energy in my hands while doing energy healing sessions.
Let me “back-track” for a moment. From 1986 to 1990, I studied with my spiritual mentor, Dr. Frank Alper while traveling to different places to attend his advanced classes. He mostly taught teachers, like myself, that taught metaphysical classes. During a class in 1989, I drew two symbols and I wrote down a mantra. These came into my consciousness during the week we were learning some Atlantean healing chants. I kept them over the years since they were in my class notebook. I had no clue what to do with them until twenty-four years later.
In 2009, I had a second spiritual rebirth—returning to writing again and learning new wisdom teachings by doing energy meditations. Each day, I did yogic breathing, raised my kundalini and I also did energy explorations. After each daily session, I wrote notes about the experience. My energy shifted so much that I decided to do two more rounds of 21 days, building on the previous day. Some of the session notes became, The Book of Initiation: Awakening to Soul. I was guided to raise my energy higher daily to do self-treatments and energy activations on clients. This continued for 3 ½ years until the week of December 21, 2012. That was the week of big transformation for Planet Earth and, all of us. I definitely paid attention to that week because it was at that time that I began to channel more energy symbols. Yes, I had already received a few over the years, but I did not know what to do with them—other than just collect and save them. During the week of transformation, I had a vision and clairsentience of an energy symbol and I had the instant insight on what to do with it! That was a first.
Over time, other symbols and mantras came forward in January 2013, and they still continue to be received. In that month of January, AKEBM was founded. One of the symbols and a mantra that I had written in 1989 was brought into my awareness of how to use them. The following year, in 2014, I received a mantra while dreaming. I discovered that it matched the other symbol that I had drawn and kept since 1989. Between 1989 and 2013, I did a lot of personal growth, healing, learning, spiritual development from life experiences and metaphysical studies. I was not at a place to “put it all together” in the earlier days of my life. That all changed in 2009.
Later this year, it will be my 50th anniversary of doing metaphysical studies. I will always be a student of life’s many teachings, learning and growing. I have gratitude for being at a place to receive energy wisdom teachings, and now, sharing them with others. Yes, it does feel like parts of this I have done before. Who knows what the remembering is? What matters is—by learning how to raise my vibration to higher and higher resonances, I am more aware of Higher Self and how frequencies can feel different. By aligning with the Light as a way for my Soul to express itself, I also feel a deeper communion with the Divine.
